The health plan offers insurance coverage for County Employees as well as insurance for Medicare, Medi-cal Managed Care and Basic Health Care for the counties uninsured.

Contra Costa Health Plan contracts with all hospitals in the Greater Contra Costa County area including John Muir Medical Center Walnut Creek Campus and Concord Campus, Contra Costa Regional Medical Center, Sutter Delta Medical Center, Sutter Solano Medical Center, Alta Bates Summit Medical Center, UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital Oakland Campus, as well as the University California at San Francisco.
