RMP - Linde Gas & Equipment (Annex)

Linde Gas & Equipment, Inc. (Annex), also referenced to as the Linde Annex, specializes in the distribution of industrial and medical gases. The Linde Annex operates at 2000 A Loveridge Road, Pittsburg, California a compressed gas distribution center operating since February 2003 (formerly as Praxair). The compressed gases stored and distributed include ammonia, chlorine and hydrogen chloride. The plant, occupying approximately 6.3 acres, is a state-of-the art facility constructed in 2002. The Linde Annex places a high priority on safety and the Pittsburg plant has had no chemical accidents or releases with offsite consequences in the last five years. Access to the manufacturing and office building is strictly controlled through a chain link fence and a security alarm system. The plant is located off Loveridge Road and California Avenue in Pittsburg near Highway 4. The surrounding area is comprised of industrial manufacturing and commercial warehousing activities. Residences are located 1/4-mile to 1-mile south and west of the site.
