Contra Costa Health Plan (CCHP) is committed to supporting members and their families before, during, and after pregnancy. As your healthcare partner, we now offer doula services to help support a healthy pregnancy for you and your baby.

What is a doula?

Doulas are trained birth workers who can support you during your whole pregnancy. This includes before birth, during delivery, and postpartum (the time after birth). There are also doulas that help in case of a miscarriage, stillbirth, or abortion. They can provide care at hospitals, birth centers, and even your home. Doulas are there to help you in person or online. If you have any questions about doula services, call member services at 1-877-661-6230 or talk to your provider.
