RMP - Chevron Richmond Refinery
The Chevron Richmond Refinery is owned and operated by Chevron Company and is located in Richmond, CA. It is the largest refinery in the area with a capacity of 245,000 barrels of crude oil per day. The primary business of the Chevron Richmond Refinery is to make transportation fuels, such as gasoline, jet fuel, and diesel fuel from crude oil. Also the refinery produces lubricating oils, and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG).

Major incidents are defined as an event within or affecting a process that causes a fire, explosion or release of a highly hazardous material, and has the potential to result in death or serious physical harm, or results in an officially declared public shelter-in-place, or evacuation order.
