Vaccinated child

Contra Costa Health immunization clinics offer vaccines mainly for community members who don't have health insurance and children eligible for the free Vaccines for Children (VFC) program.

We do not accept private health insurance (i.e. Blue Shield, Kaiser). Please contact your regular medical provider for vaccines.

 Our immunization clinics offer:

  • All doctor-recommended and school-required vaccines
  • COVID-19 vaccine
  • Mpox vaccine
  • Flu vaccine

The clinics only offer pregnant people the Tdap and flu vaccines. If you are pregnant and seeking any other vaccines, please see your regular medical provider.

These clinics do not offer travel vaccines such as yellow fever or typhoid. Visit the travel immunization clinics page to learn more about these vaccines.

Before Your Appointment

We will need to see you or your child's vaccination record if:

  • You are registering for vaccines other than mpox, COVID-19, and/or a flu shot, AND
  • You or your child have gotten vaccines outside of our immunization clinics in the past.

We ask that you email all immunization records to CoCoPHIZ@cchealth.org before your appointment. This will help us confirm what vaccine(s) you or your child need.

If you are having trouble finding a vaccination record, check out these tips.

Fees depend on your age, insurance status and the vaccine you need. If you have questions about what you can expect to pay, please call (925) 313-6740.
