Night Float

Overnight management of ICU / IMCU patients, acts as senior for the night team |

Night Admit

Emergency Medicine

Assessment and management of urgent and emergent medical issues in the ER; focus on procedures, acute care management and POCUS |
Afternoon and evening shifts with one weekend shift per week, no additional call |
Ob/Gyn
(2 x 2 weeks) |
Management of all aspects of obstetrics and gynecology in the inpatient and outpatient settings |
Combination of 12-hr OB day and evening shifts, either 6:30am-6pm or 6pm to 6:30am. No 24 hour call |
Pediatric Emergency Medicine - CHO
(2 weeks) |
Care of emergency department patients at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital Oakland |
Some evening and weekend shifts, no overnight shifts |
Ambulatory
(5 x 2 weeks) |
These rotations include specialty clinics (such as dermatology, GI, ENT, urology, ophthalmology, high-risk preop, pain consultation, and minor procedures) as well as time focused on improving skills in continuing family medicine clinic, including inbasket management, working in a patient-centered medical home. |
2 Saturday overnight call (8pm – 8am), at most 2 weekday short calls per block |
Orthopedics

Ambulatory focus including sports medicine, physical therapy, and radiology |
