Emergency Ambulance Transportation Rates
Contra Costa County EMS does not regulate charges or transportation rates for non-emergency ambulance services. Non-emergency ambulances services are required by local ordinance to post ambulance transportation rates on their websites. The rates posted below are for emergency (9-1-1) ambulance services and are the maximum rates authorized for ambulance transport.
Contra Costa County Fire Protection District
The new patient charges, effective May 9, 2024, which replace those shown in Exhibit D for the Ambulance Service Agreement, are as follows:
