Co-Applicant Governing Board


Our Mission

The mission of the Health Care for the Homeless Co-Applicant Board is to oversee, guide and assist the Program in its efforts to deliver high quality health care to a diverse and medically underserved community. The Co-Applicant Board will use its skills, expertise and life experience to make the policies and operational decisions which will provide the best benefit to the Program and clients.


The Health Care for the Homeless Co-Applicant Board is the consumer-and community – oriented board to provide guidance and oversight of the Program. All members are appointed by the Board and comprises of nine (9) to twenty-five (25) voting members. All members live or work in Contra Costa County and contribute their time, expertise and opinions to creating an operationally and fiscally strong organization for the purpose of improving the health of the homeless population in Contra Costa County.
