RMP - Whole Foods Distribution

Whole Foods operates a refrigeration system that was constructed between late 2012 and early 2013. The refrigeration system is used to store fresh produce and frozen grocery items in a warehouse for distribution. The regulated substance anhydrous ammonia is used as a refrigerant in the system. The ammonia in the system is stored as a liquid under pressure or a gas.

Whole Foods is located on approximately a 10.2 acre plot, and north of Giant Road. Properties surrounding the facility consist primarily of commercial/industrial, and open space.
