RMP - Antioch Water Treatment Plant
The City provides potable water to the Antioch Water Treatment Plant's (WTP) service area, which coincides with the City limits. The facility is capable of treating 26 million gallons per day (mgd) of water; however, it currently averages 15 mgd. Chlorine is used to disinfect the water. Anhydrous Ammonia is introduced into the treatment process prior to the point of disinfection.
AWTP has been de-registered as of May 6, 2020 and is no longer in the CalARP program.
