Food Assistance for Seniors


Seniors who need food can get help. Programs provide a hot meal or canned foods, fresh vegetables and bread.

C.C. Cafés

C.C. Cafés provide nutritious meals in a café style to all adults over age 60. Some activities and nutrition education also are a part of meal time fun. There is no charge to adults age 60+ for a meal. A voluntary and confidential contribution is requested to offset the cost of the meal. Senior Food Program

The Food Bank provides low-income senior citizens free groceries twice a month. Participants must be 55 years or older. Call the Food Bank 855-309-FOOD or visit the website for more information.

Meals On Wheels

Meals On Wheels delivers meals to seniors (people 60 years or older) who are homebound, no longer driving, unable to prepare food themselves, and do not have caregiver that is paid to prepare meals. Meals are provided based on need, not on income. Meals on Wheels delivers food to your front door, Monday through Friday, from 10:15 a.m. to 12 p.m. If you or someone you know qualifies for Meals on Wheels, see the Meals on Wheels services information to get the phone numbers for the community in which Meals on Wheels services are needed.
