Breaking News: Health Advisory for Contra Costa County

Last updated: November 16, 2018, 9:52 am

Poor air quality in Contra Costa is expected to continue through the weekend due to the Camp Fire in Butte County. Stay indoors when possible and keep doors and windows closed. Avoid prolonged outdoor activity. Masks are not a substitute for staying indoors. Seek medical attention if you experience symptoms such as difficulty breathing, persistent coughing, wheezing, chest tightness, heart palpitations, nausea, fatigue or light-headedness. Visit baaqmd.gov for air quality information. Visit airnow.gov for current air quality conditions in your zip code. Visit cchealth.org/wildfire for smoke-related health information.

Introducing ccLink: Your Electronic Health Record

On July 1, 2012, we launched an electronic health record system- ccLink- at our Contra Costa Regional Medical Center (CCRMC) and Health Centers. This state-of-the-art technology from Epic will allow us to continue providing the highest quality of care for our patients.

This transition from paper to digital records allows your care team to have immediate access to your medical history anywhere in our system, allowing them to make the best care decisions in a timely manner. In addition, most prescriptions will be sent directly from your Health Services health care provider directly to your pharmacy. That means shorter waiting times to get your medication.

You can now also access your medical record on the Internet through mycclink, our free patient portal. With myccLink, you can schedule appointments, email your doctor and see test results online.

We appreciate your patience and understanding while we make this transition to a new and improved way of charting patient medical information.
