Donations

Not everyone has time to volunteer. You can help by contributing money. Non-profit organizations working directly with Contra Costa Health Services:

  • Contra Costa Regional Medical Center Auxiliary
    2500 Alhambra Avenue, Martinez, CA 94553
    Funds are used for special purchases of patient care supplies and equipment, including medical isolation chambers, infant hearing-testing machine, wheelchairs, mammography equipment, TVs and VCRs, layettes for newborns, and stuffed animals and toys for children at Contra Costa Regional Medical Center and the Pittsburg and Richmond Health Centers. ALL funding received through the Charity Campaign goes directly to patient care or equipment.

  • The Healthy Community Foundation of Contra Costa County
    c/o The East Bay Foundation, 200 Frank Ogawa Plaza, Oakland, CA 94612
    Funds programs to improve community health in Contra Costa, especially those which have been initiated by or promote involvement of Contra Costa Health Services staff. The Healthy Community Foundation continues to assist the Pegasus Project, which provides career mentoring to students enrolled in the Health Academy at Richmond High School. Please indicate on your check if you are contributing to Pegasus.

  • Meals on Wheels of Contra Costa, Inc.
    P.O. Box 3195, Martinez, CA 94553
    Provides meals for delivery to homebound elders throughout the county via the County Home Delivered (Meals on Wheels) Program.

  • George Miller Center-East Parents Group

    George Miller Center-West Parents Group
    2801 Robert H. Miller Drive, Richmond, CA 94806
    Funds are used to purchase equipment, materials and supplies for developmentally disabled infants, school-age children and adults.

  • The Beverly Jacobs Youth Development Fund
    c/o The East Bay Foundation, 200 Frank H. Ogawa Plaza, Oakland, CA 94612
    This fund was established to honor Beverly Jacobs upon her retirement from Contra Costa Health Services. It provides educational opportunities for Contra Costa youth, especially those who have worked for Contra Costa Health Services.
