It's Not To Late for a Flu Vaccine - Public Service AnnouncementVoice Over: Each winter millions of people suffer from the flu. In the United States, 36,000 die from the flu and its complications every year. Most are 65 and over but the flu can also be life threatening for infants and people of any age who have chronic illnesses, such as diabetes, or diseases of the heart, lung or kidney.
I'm Supervisor Federal Glover. The flu shot is recommended for people 50 and older, for children from 6 months to 5 years, people with chronic diseases of he heart, lung and liver, healthcare workers, pregnant women, and people who care for children under the age of five.
