What Can You Get at WIC?
Who Can WIC Help?
WIC helps families with limited income. Many working families qualify. How Do You Apply for WIC Services?Call one of our WIC offices and make an appointment. The staff will tell you what paperwork to bring for your first appointment. At the appointment, WIC staff will check to see if you and your family qualify. All WIC services are free of charge. Citizenship is not required. Receiving WIC will not affect one's immigration status. WIC is not a public charge. Standards for participation in the program are the same for everyone regardless of race, color, religion, national origin, political beliefs, sex, age, or handicap. If you have been discriminated against, you should write to: Director, Supplemental Food Program Division, Food and Nutrition Services, U.S. Department of Agriculture, Washington, DC 20250.
