What Pediatric Offers

All Pediatric clinics are staffed with a pediatrician, nurse practitioner and public health nurse. The team is available to provide culturally sensitive, community-based, comprehensive pediatric primary and preventive health care, health education and referral for counseling services to families in Contra Costa.

Services include:

Primary medical care for children
Bi-lingual professional staff
Free or low-cost well children check ups, school physicals, immunizations and hearing and vision screening
Co-located with Women, Infant and Children (WIC) supplement food program and nutrition classes
Health education
In-home follow-up for special cases

Who Is Eligible

The services are available to all children birth to 19 years old who are members of the Contra Costa Health Plan, are covered by MediCal, or are children of low-income families who live in Contra Costa County.
