Funding Available for HIV/AIDS Service Providers in Contra Costa

What:

Contra Costa Health Services will award more than $500,000 in federal funds to providers serving people living with HIV or AIDS.

Funds are made available through the Federal Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), Ryan White Treatment Modernization Act, which provides funding for health services for people who lack sufficient health care coverage or financial resources to cope with HIV or AIDS.

The five service categories are Medical Case Management, Mental Health Coordination, Substance Abuse Coordination, Case Aide/Care Coordination and Minority AIDS Initiative HIV Education/Risk Reduction. Applicants must submit a separate application for each service category.
