County Alcohol and Other Drugs Advisory Board Needs Admin Volunteer

The Contra Costa County Alcohol and Other Drugs Advisory Board is looking for a volunteer who is interested in assisting staff with tasks specifically related to the Advisory Board.
The 21-member board works in collaboration with the Alcohol and Other Drugs Services Division of Contra Costa Health Services (CCHS) and provides input and recommendations about family and community needs regarding treatment and prevention of alcohol and drug abuse problems.
Some of the volunteer administrative tasks include preparing and mailing agendas and related material for Board and Committee meetings, assisting in general preparation for Advisory Board business, and other duties as required. The estimated time is 5-8 hours weekly or 20-30 hours monthly.
The location for this work is in the Alcohol and Other Drugs Services offices at 597 Center Avenue, Suite 320 in Martinez. Training will be provided by Staff and Board members.
