Health Advisory Lifted for Pittsburg and Antioch

The health advisory for Pittsburg and Antioch has been lifted. The advisory was issued for people with respiratory sensitivities this morning after a chemical release at Dow Chemical in Pittsburg. Contra Costa HazMat staff are investigating the incident. More information will be posted as it becomes available.

Ambulatory Care Consult/Liaison Psychiatrist

Contra Costa Health Services is seeking an Ambulatory Care Consult/Liaison Psychiatrist for a new integration program primarily serving the physical and behavioral health needs of a homeless population. Substance Abuse specialization helpful, but not required. The psychiatrist will provide consultation to a primary care staff for 20 hours per week. An additional 20 hours of employment is available in one of our adult mental health clinics. The program opens in August 2013.
