How to help North Bay Wildfire Victims:

Wildfire relief organizations prefer monetary donations at this time. For safety reasons, and to avoid blocking emergency traffic, please don’t bring donations to areas affected by wildfires.

Places to donate in Contra Costa:

The Bay Area Air Quality Management District has declared a health advisory due to heavy smoke from the North Bay Fires. For more information visit http://www.baaqmd.gov/

How to Access Mental Health Services

If you have Medi-cal

Starting 1/1/2014 Medi-Cal Managed Care Health Plans will cover some of the mental health services that you have received through Medi-Cal and some substance disorder services.

To receive your expanded Mental Health Services you can contact your Primary Care Provider. You can also call the Mental Health Access Line at toll free 1-888-678-7277. This number can be accessed 24 hours every day.

To find out more information about the expanded benefits you may call our Member Services Department toll free at 1-877-661-6230 (press 2) M-F 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. TTD/TTY users can call 1-800-735-2929.

Translation services are available for other languages.

To access outpatient mental health services, please call Mental Health Authorizations at 1-877-661-6230 (press 4).
