RMP - Plains All-American Pipeline
The Plains All-American Pipeline (Plains) terminal, located in Martinez, CA, is owned and operated by Plains All-American Pipeline, a midstream energy company headquartered in Houston, TX. The facility has 31 storage tanks ranging in size from 10,000 to 500,000 barrels that are located on 225 acres and has a storage capacity of 4.8 million barrels. It also has a single-vessel wharf with pipelines that run to storage tanks on site. Plains provides storage for crude oil as well as intermediate and refined petroleum products for Tesoro and Valero refineries in the Bay Area. However, the only product that is a CalARP regulated substance is light naphtha which is a flammable material. The facility also provides storage for smaller petroleum customers.
