Facilities

There are many public health facilities in Contra Costa County. Residents will care for patients longitudinally at one of four community clinic sites located in Martinez, Richmond, Pittsburg and Concord.

Contra Costa Regional Medical Center, located in Martinez, treats over 360,000 people per year. Pittsburg Family Practice Center provides important primary care for East County residents, as well as on-site specialty clinics.
Martinez Family Practice Clinic is located next to CCRMC, the parent hospital, and serves a wide socioeconomic, ethnic, and age distribution. Richmond Family Practice Center is situated in the western-most area of Contra Costa County. Resident-physicians at Richmond learn skills essential to inner-city family practice.
Concord Family Practice Center is located in Central Contra Costa County providing routine and preventive health care service focusing on the whole person. Special family practice clinics have been established for some non-English speaking patients:
Asian, Lao, Afghani, Vietnamese, Russian.
Antioch Family Practice Center is located in East Contra Costa County and provides routine and preventive health care service focusing on the whole person. This health center was added to the Residency's list of educational sites in 2010.
