Public Health Clinic Services

Public Health Clinic Services provides a broad range of health and wellness programs to diverse segments of Contra Costa County residents throughout the County and through our mobile health vans.
Many of our services are low-cost or free.

Clinic locations and schedules

We provide an extensive array of skilled medical and nursing services that address:

Family and child care issues, including family planning, birth control counseling, and education,
Sexually Transmitted Disease treatment and education
Immunization and tuberculosis screening
Breast screening
Family nutrition education

We also provide programs specific to targeted populations:

Limited English Assistance Program (LEAP)
Health Care for the Homeless
Teens and Children
Patient Navigators for Spanish-speaking women with appointments in the Family Planning and Breast Clinics: English (76k PDF, 2pp.) or Spanish (76k PDF, 2pp.)
Women Health Services

Highly skilled Public Health Nurses deliver a full range of services throughout the community, including the identification and assessment of health care needs and resources, patient advocacy, community liaison, and nursing care to families in their homes.
