Mental Health Division

We provide mental health services for children and adults living in Contra Costa County. These services are provided through a system of care that includes Mental Health staff, community-based organizations, and a network of private therapists.

Services for children and adolescents are provided in conjunction with other county programs such as Employment and Human Services, Probation, and school districts. Services also include individual work with children and their families. Services for adults are provided to those with serious mental disabilities or those in acute crisis. We are the mental health care provider for Medi-Cal beneficiaries and the uninsured.

Any Contra Costa resident who experiences a mental or emotional crisis can get help from our Crisis Services. These services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
