EMS Infectious Disease Precautions and Exposure Management

GENERAL

All EMS Provider Agencies are required to establish and maintain a written exposure plan in compliance to federal and state law. In the event of an infectious disease exposure, complete an EMS-6 form and submit to their agency's Infectious Control Officer and Contra Costa Public Health at fax (925) 313-6465.
