Plan Check

Plan check deposit fees are three times the annual permit fee. This includes plan check and all applicable inspections and consultations. An additional deposit fee may be required when initial deposit has been expended. Minimum Plan Check Deposit is $667. You may submit your plans and fees between 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. at 2120 Diamond Blvd., Ste. 200, Concord. Please allow a minimum of 20 working days for plan check.

Penalties

Any person violating the Contra Costa County Ordinance Code by failing to submit plans, obtain necessary inspections and approvals, or pay fees or by commencing or continuing construction or remodeling in violation hereof, shall pay triple the appropriate fee as a penalty and remain subject to other applicable penalties and enforcement procedures authorized by the state law and/or the Contra Costa County Code.
